How to get to Venice

From Marco Polo Airport (Venice)

To reach the railway station from the airport there are two buses:
1) N° 5 ACTV that leaves every 30 minutes

festivi:
6.30 poi dalle 7.02 alle 20.02 ai minuti 2 di ogni ora.

2) ATVO AIR TERMINAL also leaving every 30 minutes:

From Malpensa Airport (Milan)

To reach the Milano Centrale railway station (from where the trains to Venice leave) you can take: a train called MALPENSA EXPRESS, that leaves every 30 minutes (ticket: 9 € at the ticket office, 11,50€ on board) or a bus: Malpensa Bus Express, that leaves every 20 minutes from 5.10 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. (ticket: 5,50€); Malpensa Shuttle AirPullman, also leaving every 20 minutes from 5.20 a.m. to 22.30 p.m. (ticket: 4,50€).

You can even find a taxi at the exit n.4 and n.5. They have a writing: “taxi autorizzato al servizio aeroportuale lombardo” (taxi authorized). Ticket: 50,00/65,00€! (But you can divide the cost between 3 people).

From Linate Airport (Milan)

Bus:

Star Fly leaves every 30 minutes from 5.40 a.m. to 9.35 p.m. (ticket: 4€).

Taxi:

Ticket: 12,00/18,00 Euro.

From Treviso Airport (RYANAIR)

Take a ticket for the bus that arrives in Venice at the ATVO ticket office in the airport:

One-way ticket: 4,40€

Round-trip ticket: 7,80€

Car:

Do not arrive at Venice with your car! Parkings are VERY expensive. You should better leave it at an exchange parking, for example the one in Mestre, Maria dei Battuti street, that is open from 6.00 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.

You can leave your car there for 3€Euro/day and a bus will take you to the Mestre railway station for free.

There is another exchange parking in Marghera, Trieste street, ticket: 1€Euro/day.

PARCHEGGIO P1: via Trieste - Marghera (VE) Orario di apertura: tutti i giorni: 06:00 - 21:00 A pagamento: dal lunedì al sabato dalle 6:30 alle 20:30 Navetta di andata (da park per la stazione FS) e ritorno (dalla stazione FS al park) con partenze ogni 20 minuti dalle 6:30 alle 20:30. TARIFFA: Sosta giornaliera: 1 Euro (navetta gratis fino ad un massimo di 4 persone, guidatore compreso. Per ulteriori informazioni: 041/2727211.

PARCHEGGIO P2: Via S. Maria dei Battuti - località Mestre Orario di apertura: tutti i giorni: 06:00 - 21:00 a lunedì al sabato dalle 6:30 alle 20:30 Navetta circolare con partenza dal park e ritorno al park senza soste intermedie, con frequenza ogni 6 o ogni 10 minuti a seconda della fascia oraria. TARIFFA: Sosta giornaliera: 3 euro (navetta gratis fino ad un massimo di 4 persone, compreso il guidatore).
